Work Style: Burgundy Mix

Work Style, Burgundy Mix, www.jadore-fashion.com

Fall often brings out the burgundy in me and the deep warm feeling of the color is synonymous with the season. For a while, I searched for a burgundy coat/trench coat before coming across this Chicwish pair. I love the color tone, length and cuff details making it a great work style. For a neutral perspective, I paired it with a beige top and completed the look with reddish/burgundy pumps.

Shadow Play

Cameo shadowplay column skirt from anthropologie, cmeo collective

Hi everyone! Happy Monday and hope you had a great weekend. It was a rainy day on Saturday and a good time for me to stay indoors and catch up on my favorite TV shows. In the evening, hubby and I took Nolan to the mall for a stroll and he ended up coming home with a basketball. He refused to leave the store until we got the ball (lol); my future basketball player. On Sunday, I attended a friends baby shower and had so much fun.

Today's post revolves around this Cameo shadow play skirt. The detail is very unique and stands out and I love the side slits. I paired it with a simple black blouse with buckle strap pumps for an edgy look.

What I Am Wearing:

Work Style: Mixing colors

work style in chicwish midi skirt
There is no better way to step into work this fall than in a fit and flare feminine chic skirt. This studded midi skirt from Chicwish is classy and attracts attention.

I am always in search of fun and classy work styles and this skirt fits perfectly. The color, the gold studs and the flare silhouette captivates me; I definitely need it in black and wine colors.

For this post, I paired the skirt with a canary yellow blouse to complement the gold studs and completed the look with beige pumps for a neutral blend. If you dont want a bright top, this white blouse or blush toneswill look very great.

What I Am Wearing:

Yes It's Me!

Ankara print work style
Happy Monday everyone!!! Today is the last day in August and it is pretty unbelievable how fast the days are flying by; I am trying to enjoy the remaining few days of summer before the cold season kicks in.

Todays post showcases a great way to incorporate color and print to a work style. Personally, I am a fan of mixing bold items with simple or monotone pieces.

This Timi Alaere skirt is a bold piece that is vibrant and when paired with the white top, it gives a fresh feel to the look. A blazer (maybe a brown one) will look great with the piece which is what I did when I wore it to work last week (as seen on my Snapchat: Jadore-Fashion). I completed the look with red pumps to complement the skirt. Beige or brown pumps will definitely look awesome.

What I Am Wearing:

Cord Lace

Time flies so fast during the weekend especially when you are having fun. After celebrating fathers day on Sunday morning, my husband came home to a surprise belated birthday party which I organized. He was out of town on his birthday so he had no idea of the party. It was fun and I had an empowering ladies gathering too. How was your weekend?

Today's post is a feminine mix with a casual twist. The color of the cord lace skirt is perfect to officially usher-in summer. I paired it with a stripe button-down shirt with slightly cuffed sleeves for a casual feel. Stripe shirts are versatile and they complement several prints and textures. I completed the look with beige pumps for a subtle feel.
