Work Style + Stole

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was a relaxing one and we celebrated my mom's birthday at one of her favorite restaurants. She definitely had a fun-filled birthday.

The weather over here has been surprisingly warm over the past few days compared to the cold weather expected in November. A warm day of course is an opportunity to wear a blazer or light jacket and this post showcases a work style look for such days. The stole is stylish and keeps me warm and stoles are becoming favorite accessories for fall and I completed the look with strappy pumps .

The Wide Leg

Fall season is on my radar given my current taste for black, grey, dark green and white colors. The look for today is a great work style for fall.I love the perfect fit of this tweed wide leg pants ; I paired the pants with a dark grey top and a sleeveless coat for the chilly fall days. I completed the look with one of my favorite fall lipsticksand I will be sharing some of my lipsticks soon.

Fall Work Style

When you like something so much, get it in every color, right? Well, that's how I felt about this Chicwish skirt. It is very comfortable, chic and classy.  The gold studs adds a unique appeal to the skirt. Typically, the studded details are to be worn sideways; but I chose to wear it in front. Completing the monochromatic look for work, I went with red blouse and red coat. I love the mix of burgundy and red...very fall appropriate.

Work Style

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. I had a fun weekend lunch date with friends at McCormick & Schmicks and the food was amazing. Their crab dip and shrimp kiss was lovely and I still relish the taste of the blackened chicken fettuccini.

Today, I am sharing another work style post and this JCrew pants feels awesome. For work pieces, I like navy, black, gray and neutral colors as they can be styled and paired in several ways. On the post, I paired navy pants with a light blue blouse (with navy blue trims).

The navy blue details on the shirt and pants are complementary. I completed the look with navy polka dot pumps; a great way to add a unique feel to a simple work style.
